Situation:  STC had disparate solutions running their financials(Oracle EBS) and Recruiting and Onboarding(in-house built).  With processing over 5000 applications a year, valuable candidates were being lost and efficiency advantages from modern technology and business practices were not being realized.  The result was that STC was not getting the top talent and productivity within the HR/recruiting department was low, both costing STC millions of dollars a year.

Challenge:  STC was experiencing the following business challenges.

  1. Workflows were manual due to lack of integrations. For example, scoring of applications were manual or didn’t exist at all in some cases.  Rejection letters had to be manually sent.
  2. Paper process required double entry of data.  For example, when an applicant accepted an offer, the applicant’s information had to be re-entered into the HCM system.
